What is a senior day program?Senior day programs are designed to provide care and companionship for older adults who need assistance or supervision during the day. We also offer relief to family members and caregivers, allowing them to go to work, handle personal business, or just relax while knowing their relative is well cared for and safe.
The goals of the programs are to delay or prevent institutionalization by providing alternative care, to enhance self-esteem, and to encourage socialization. What kinds of activities does Rebecca's Retreat provide? We strive to provide a consistent schedule of daily activities for our seniors.

What are the benefits of a senior day program?Almost family, a senior day program is a win/win situation for everyone in the family—not only the client or member who attends the program, but also for the family member who has primary responsibility as caregiver. A senior day program provides a much-needed respite for the caregiver, affording a break from the physical demands and stress of providing around-the-clock care.
For the participant, the benefits of our day program can be extensive:
My father needs help in the restroom. Do you provide assistance?
Can you recommend a care facility for my Mother with dementia? |
The mission of Rebecca’s Retreat is to support and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
We instill a joy for living in the moment through an enriching program of activities,
transcending the physical and emotional pain that often comes with the losses and challenges of aging, especially for those with memory loss.
Our goal is to partner with the family caregiver to improve the overall well-being of the senior participant and to enhance the quality of life for both the senior as well as
offer respite & loving support for the caregiver.
